Bowling Pin Targets

Our handgun range offers our members the opportunity to use their restricted handguns (both small and large bore) to hit bowling pin targets located just 8 meters away. Shooting positions are covered from the elements.

Pistol Range - Bowling Pin Shoots

  • All decisions by shoot captains are final
  • There 3 separate matches:
    • .22 Rimfire
    • Mid Caliber
    • Big Bore
  • The scoring system is a double round elimination
  • Each shooter is paired with another shooter. First to clear their table wins that round
  • Each table will have five pins set up on it
  • No Calibers larger than .45 and no case length longer than 1.3 inches
  • A limit of 20 cartridges per round. If no one has cleared the table, both shooters are declared losers
  • All matches are shot with handguns only
  • Any sight is permitted

.22 Rimfire Match

  • .22 rimfire only
  • Pins are set on the back edge of the table
  • You only need to knock down five to win

Mid Calibre Match

  • .38 Special, 9 mm Luger, Etc
  • Pins are set one foot from the front of table
  • You need to knock down and clear the five pins from the table to win

Big Bore Match

  • .357 Magnum, .40 S&W and up
  • Pins are set one foot from the front of table
  • You need to knock down and clear the five pins from the table to win
